Soft but just like a spring matress

My wife and I were looking for a matteress that would not fold up in the middle when you place your child into it. the fabric on the outside is the same and the water resistance fabric on normal spring matteress, therefor the feeling for a small baby is the same. there was no reason to get this. I was under the impression the it was breathable and would not fold over the child when you sat them in it. I was incorrect. the child does sleep 6 hours on it at night. but I would suggest a product that has less play when the child is placed into it. and perhaps an optional cover. or a cover that you can remove and not just have some foam on the inside.

Too short

This item was two inches too short for the crib even though I bought a dream on me crib and I am still waiting for a mailing label and my refund. I bought another mattress for about ten dollars more that was much thicker and nicer.

Very Squishy and Very Small

Would not recommend this, this mattress is very squishy. I would never use the adjective 'firm' to describe this. We also have an issue with it being too small for our standard sized cribs and the sheets are way too baggy. Not happy with this mattress. We are going to transition my daughter out of her crib into a bed so that we can give my son her mattress now that he's rolling around, there are gaps at the head and foot of the crib and we are worried that he's going to roll and get stuck.
