I first purchased a Kidkraft Princess Bed for my first daughter. It's a medieval fantasy-themed bed, made of high quality solid materials, and decorated with loving care. My daughter loves it! Anyone visiting who sees the bed in her room always comments about what a wonderful girls bed it is, and my daughter is always telling her friends about it.It's solid enough that a large adult can sit on it to read stories at night, I weigh about 250lbs, and it doesn't give at all - it has very solid bracing underneath. Since you get to put it together (that takes about an hour), you get a very good perspective on how well it's made. I expect this bed to last for years and years.In fact, it's so well made, that when daughter #2 came along, I had to purchase another one for her! Now both of my little princesses have lovely matching beds!

I've read some of the reviews on this bed and what people are complaining about has nothing to do with this bed or it's quality. I bought this for my daughter and it is PERFECT. It's well made out of quality wood and it is hand painted. It does take a little while to put together but it's worth the time and money spent.

My daughter is the first girl after 4 boys in my family, she is the little princess. As soon as I saw this Princess Toddler Bed I knew I had to get it for her! The bed has transformed her room into her own little palace and she feels like a little princess tucked in in this awesome bed!I love love the attention to detail that KidKraft has put into it! The crown paintings on the headboard and footboard are perfect and the gold leaf along the side rails and footboard add the perfect touch to complete the bed.The quality is top notch, I do not foresee it breaking or chipping anytime soon. I think it will last for many years to come. It's low to the ground so my daughter has no problem climbing in and out of bed and if she were to fall out I don't have to worry about her getting hurt since she is so close to the ground.My daughter is absolutely in love with this bed! She feels like a true princess when she is off in dreamland.
